Sunday Wedding

Sunday weddings at the Stillwater Public Library are a great deal! The Library's Board of Directors recently approved a rate of $100/hour for non-holiday weekends in 2010; a discount of nearly 50 percent! The only caveat for a Sunday rental, is that use of the facility cannot begin until 1 PM, as the church next door uses the parking ramp for members-only parking during their Sunday services.
There are some nice articles about Sunday wedding etiquette on The Knot.

Josh and Katie were married at the the Library on a Sunday in June. The bride and groom started the morning by checking into the carriage house at the Aurora Stapes Bed and Breakfast, right next door the Library.

After getting ready, photographers Jenn and Tim Cheesebrow of The Minnesota Image spent time with the bridal party in the garden of the Aurora Staples and inside the library taking pictures.

The ceremony was short and simple. Officiated by a friend, with only 40 guests in attendance. A reception followed at The Nova in Hudson, Wisconsin. The bride wore a pink wedding dress, and carried a simple bouquet of full-sized calla lilies. The floral arrangements and bouquet were created by County Market in Hudson, Wisconsin.
