Construction Crane

Somehow, the Stillwater Public Library always manages to create a controvesy. The City of Stillwater is putting up a parking garage, and AP construction has put up a GIANT crane to get the job done. Of course, the giant crane is right smack in the middle of our beautiful view of the St. Croix River.

I have 30 weddings scheduled for this summer, so the last two weeks have been spent making phone calls that were no fun at all. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the couples who have been so incredibly understanding and patient with us, while we figure out if there is anything we can do to minimize the impact of the crane. Thankfully, the parking garage is scheduled for completion by November 1st of 2009. The garage will have more parking for wedding guests, and will NOT block or beautiful view of the river.
