Lift Bridge

FYI - for anybody heading to Stillwater Public Library in the next few weeks:

The St. Croix River was at 683.48 feet (above sea level) in Stillwater as of 3 p.m. Friday, Mar. 25. The bridge will be closed for safety reasons when the river reaches 686.2 feet according to the National Weather Service.   As of March 24, it's estimated the river will crest slightly above 687 feet on March 30 or 31.

If you are getting married at the Library this summer, and anticipate guests from Wisconsin, please be aware that the City is considering taking action to have the Stillwater Lift Bridge closed permanently.  You might wish to give all guests directions based on the Interstate 94 St. Croix river bridge.
